The Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pininfarina is a rare supercar from the early 2000s baring the Scuderia Ferrari badge. The car is based off of the Ferrari 550 Maranello, and retains a similar look to the 575 Maranello as well, taking inspiration from previous Ferrari icons like the Ferrari Daytona. This two-seater, front-engined, V12 Ferrari was built to celebrate Ferrari’s design partner, Pininfarina’s, 70th Anniversary. Only 448 of them were ever built! Join us as we take an in-depth look at this grand touring car’s story, features, and of course, have a listen to that 550 Barchetta sound! It may not be as compelling as the Ferrari vs Ford story, but this 550 Barchetta Pininfarina review is certainly entertaining – from the origin of the Ferrari badge, to an unusual design quirk, to the last standard manual Ferrari, this is a great episode of #InsideTheLab!
We’re all about sharing our passion of exotic cars with others and we want to share an in-depth look of our extraordinary supercar showroom #InsideTheLab! We’ll cover everything from the rare Lamborghini Centenario to the Bugatti Veyron, and even the Pagani Huayra BC. Feel free to leave any questions or feedback in the comments below.
